In response to a demand from the tour operator and incentive travel organiser market, we offer a premium guided pottery tour product for small, pre-booked tour groups. Approximately 2 hours in duration and is the ideal option for groups with 5-20 participants. Called the ‘Hand Crafted in Belleek Experience’, this exclusive tour programme focuses on giving visitors a truly ‘hands on’ understanding of Ireland’s oldest pottery. The focal point of the tour will be a practical demonstration of ‘the art of Belleek’ by a Master Craftsman followed by the opportunity for tour members to try their hand at creating their own unique piece of Belleek, from the modelling of parian china flowers, to putting the finishing touches to the painting of a plate or the fixing of a handle to a Belleek tea cup. This exclusive tour gives visitors a unique insight into the art of the Belleek Craftsman and a keepsake that could become a family heirloom. Following the tour we will fire the visitors’ handicraft and ship the finished items with any purchases to their home as a lasting memento of their time spent in Belleek. The ‘Hand Crafted in Belleek Experience’ tour comprises of:
• Audio visual presentation
• Guided tour
• Guest participation
• Paint your own piece

“Great Tour ... Historic Site and Still Working Factory” Our group enjoyed a fascinating guided tour of the Belleek Pottery factory. They still produce in much the same manner as they did at the time of their founding 160 years ago. You can also purchase Belleek Pottery in the gift shop and enjoy afternoon tea or a light lunch in the visitor center. If you are in to either Irish history or Pottery in general this is a must stop.
