The substantial investment in the drainage at the time of construction offers up a course that is playable 365 days a year. Located only 30 minutes from Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre and 90 minutes from Belfast, Killeen Castle Golf Club, in addition to presenting a world class golf course, also provides Tour standard warm-up facilities. It is also home to a state of the art club house which offers luxurious showers and locker rooms, and exceptional dining facilities. A magnificent test of golf which the 18 time major winner described as "one of my proudest designs". Host venue for the 2011 Solheim Cup.

we recently had a golf outing in Killeen Castle Golf Club and I cannot recommend it highly enough as a venue, from start to finish this venue truly delivered in all aspects of location, catering and the course itself a truly unique experience. Close proximity to Dublin, the greeting from Karen and the team in Golf administration to Bernie and all the catering staff, the welcome was second to none and this was all before setting foot on the course itself which will live long in the memory as it is truly 1 of Ireland's best parkland courses.
