Kirsten McCormack has a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Marketing and as part of her degree had the opportunity to travel to the other side of the world for a six-month internship in Vietnam. That is where her love for the tourism industry began. Since graduating in 2016, she has worked in the hospitality industry with a strong focus on corporate sales and marketing.

Kirsten has recently bolstered her digital expertise and credentials with the recent completion of the Virtual Event & Meeting Management Program from MPI.

"I am originally from a lovely little town in West Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland, but I have lived in Dublin for the past several years.

Travelling is one of my favourite things to do, I have a passion for culture and people, whether it is enjoying a Yankees game in New York or going spear fishing in Vietnam. I am absolutely fascinated with getting to know local traditions.

At home in Ireland, I am much the same. I love discovering new places and what they have to offer. Going on hikes and taking in the breath-taking landscape or seeing the creativity across the Island. Whether it is discovering an Irish artist for the first time or stumbling upon some of the most delicious artisan foods created here on Irish soil."

Kirsten became a certified Digital Event Strategist (DES) when she completed the PCMA DES course in 2021. She is also a Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS).
