The bustling city of Frankfurt played host to Europe's premier trade show for the meetings and events industry from 23-25 May 2023. Welcoming industry professionals from around the world, IMEX Frankfurt provided a platform for networking, collaboration and exploring new business opportunities.

The Meet in Ireland team once again had a strong presence at the three-day event alongside Tourism Ireland and 36 industry partners who helped us showcase Ireland as a world-class business events destination to over 2,800 international meeting planners.

This year, the team went the extra mile to demonstrate our commitment to the environment and sustainability, adorning the Meet in Ireland stand with real trees to create a refreshing and eco-friendly ambiance.

After the event, the trees were donated to IMEX who will in turn be donating them to local businesses and nursing homes in the local Frankfurt community for planting.

Moreover, the team also treated visitors to a delightful culinary experience by showcasing locally sourced Irish food. With 15 tastings held as part of the stand presentations, attendees were able to savour the unique blend of traditional and contemporary Irish cuisine.
