Located in a fashionable Dublin city centre location surrounded by cultural and historical attractions, The Wilder Townhouse is ideally situated for MICE attendees hoping to get a real sense of our capital city. A venue that’s easy on the eye with a gorgeous red-brick facade, the building evokes a rich sense of history that's also quintessentially Dublin-esque.
The Townhouse opened for business in October 2018, but its site has a quirky past: The building dates from the Victorian era and was once a ‘home for retired governesses’ (also described as a ‘home for bewildered women’!). Modern elegance and a deep sense of comfort will delight your clients – a blend of old and new that works in perfect harmony.
Just a stone's throw from beautiful St Stephen's Green, the Wilder is a great starting point for taking in the city, with Trinity College, The National Museum of Ireland and The National Concert Hall within a short walking distance. Also nearby are conference venues such as the RDS (Royal Dublin Society), and the Dublin Convention Centre.
The Wilder Townhouse is particularly suited to incentive groups or the luxury traveller, offering a range of 42 rooms and suites that cater for different needs and budgets. Starting with neat and compact Shoebox rooms with double beds, from there you can upgrade to a Small room with a king-size bed or choose from Accessible or Popular rooms. Each features a marble mosaic bathroom with a walk-in rainforest shower and a range of Replica by Maison Margiela Paris products to use throughout your stay. Choose from one of the Wilder's Suites and your MICE guests will be spoiled with pure luxury; all feature a marble fireplace, elegant velvet furniture, crystal chandeliers, and a living area with a vintage silk-covered ottoman.
Elsewhere in the building you’ll find places to relax and unwind. The Garden Room offers a tasty breakfast buffet of home-baked scones and muffins, fresh fruit, cereals and yogurt, or scrumptious hot breakfast options like smashed avocado and poached eggs.
The Gin and Tea Room offers guests the chance to enjoy a tipple – sampling bespoke craft gin from across Ireland, as well as a range of other delicious beverages. French glass lights, original artworks and 1920s decor create the perfect ambience to kick back after a productive day.
